mines the Rateable Value of your premises. Your Local Authority uses that v=
alue and uses a " Multiplier" to determine your rates bill. The Local Autho=
rity sets the "Multiplier" based on a number of economic considerations. It=
 is set at a macro level within the local authority.</p>=20

aluation Office can visit every business premises in the UK and conduct a p=
roperty survey. Instead they use a number of attributes that "guess" your R=
ateable Value. They only update their "guess" every 4 years. So any changes=
 to physical attributes of your property are not taken into account.</p>=20
