The scale and speed of Government interventions in adapting to the coronav=
irus crisis is unprecedented. As an organisation we applaud the actions th=
at have been taken and the much-needed financial support the Government ha=
s provided to businesses. However=2C the speed of introduction and complex=
ity of the issues have resulted in a need to evolve and develop some solut=
ions so that they better support SME businesses.
With this in mind=2C The HR Dept are conducting a national survey that con=
sists of two main issues affecting business owners about the subject of fu=
rloughing employees.
* proposal for a 'Part Furlough'/Enhanced Short Time Working solution
* assess if the February 28th date change to 19th March has benefitted SME=
business'
