Open circuit address 7.X first/second etc loop load problems?
Do you have a fire panel that's reporting an open circuit on panel address =
7.X (which is the monitoring for loops)?=C2=A0
This can be seen in the VIEW>PANEL menu:
7.0 relates to loop 1
7.1 relates to loop 2=C2=A0
7.2 relates to loop 3
7.3 relates to loop 4=C2=A0
If the "IN" connection of the loop in fault is disconnected this will cause=
all devices after the open circuit to go missing. This will give an indica=
tion of the fault location. Alternatively, if level 3 is accessed this will=
only drive voltage out of the "OUT" side of the loop so the fault can be f=
ound without disconnecting the "IN" connection.
How to programme a disablement group
Select the input you wish to control the disablement group.=C2=A0 In the =
=E2=80=9CPoint Details=E2=80=9D section for this device, change the "Input =
Action" to "Disable Group".=C2=A0 You will also need to select the disablem=
ent group you wish this input to control, eg Disablement Group 1. Any devic=
es you wish to be disabled when this input is active will also need to be a=
llocated to the same disablement group number via their own point details s=
ection.
