How to convert MxPro 4 to MxPro 5


If you're thinking of swapping an MxPro 4 panel for an MxPro 5, you can sav=
e time on site by converting the configuration software.  This reduces syst=
em downtime, as there is no need for any reprogramming.

The conversion feature is available via the 'Assistants' menu in the top le=
ft-hand corner of the PC Config Tool, as shown in the example below.

The detailed configuration of loop devices, text assignment and cause and e=
ffect will all be preserved during the conversion process.

We have appointed Matthew Jones as Head of Sales for the UK and Ireland as =

ss Manager. Prior to this he managed a large part of the fire detection pro=
duct portfolio for our Halma sister company, Apollo.

Advanced protects the Film House, London

A shared use office and retail space at the landmark former home of British=
 Pathe is now protected by MxPro 5 panels.

The fire alarm system was designed and commissioned by 360Fire and includes=
 four MxPro 5 panels and one repeater panel alongside Hochiki detectors, co=
vering all six tenanted floors of the building.  Selected for their open-pr=
otocol nature, the panels are integrated with a voice alarm system allowing=
 for phased evacuation, with lifts operating on a dual signal to the ground=
 or alternative floor, depending on fire location.
